The Goalrilla pole pad is a great and it needed necessity for someone who is thinking about getting a basketball hoop. As a basketball player myself, there are a number of times when I collided into the pole and there are time when I have seen other player run straight into the steel pole that makes up the basketball hoop.
Colliding hard into a basketball pole can seriously hurt an athlete and we all know this. Athletes have gotten concussions because of these accidents on the court. The Goalrilla pole pad can be used with 4", 5", 6" and 6" x 8" square poles on basketball hoops. It will accommodate any basketball hoop, and it simply and easily attaches to the basketball hoop because of the velcro straps on it. This pole pad helps protects players when they play aggressively and when they're jumping for that rebounding. This pole pad can handle any weather, and its durable. Its vinyl covered and the foam pad is 1 ½" thick. The padding itself is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs on 7 lbs. Here are a couple customer reviews on the Goalrilla pole pad……
